"This is a chill spot right on the river. The owner we were told is an old Chicagoan so we had to make a stop. It's cash only, they don't take credit cards. Sometimes they close early too so who knows. It's also filled with expats from Canada and the US so brush up on your English haha"

"Had good bar food with a great friendly, upbeat atmosphere! We hit Mike’s on a Saturday night when they had a band playing. Although they closed early (at 9pm or 21:00 as they say around here) the band was very good, they sounded great and had a good full range sound system (we eat at Big Daddy’s the other night and the bands sound was flat with no high notes). Everyone at Mike’s was talking, friendly, engaging and it was a mix of locals and visitors. Oh and the outside patio sits along the creek and you can hear and see it during your time there."
