What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Ceviche Seafood Kitchen is lauded for its fresh, beautifully presented Peruvian dishes and attentive service, making it a top culinary destination in Cusco. While many praise the vibrant flavors and welcoming atmosphere, a few diners noted that some dishes can be overly salty or that menu availability can be an issue at times.
"Great food. Some of the dishes were missing, but eventually we took 3 local dishes that were very tasty. The dishes are also big and worth your money.
Cocktails were also done good and weren’t filled with sugar which is a risk in ordering cocktails. Atmosphere is great and the place has nice design."

"We had early dinner on a Thursday night, group of 8. The piscos and the ceviches were great, as well as the trout and the trio. The beef was so-so. The pistacho cheesecake and the Muña teas were great to end the night. Excellent service, we felt very welcomed."

"The best culinary experience I had in Peru!
Absolutely delicious food, with the restaurant able to accommodate our group's dietary restrictions (only seafood).
Our server, Jeanie, provided a service level not seen even in a 5-star hotel restaurant. She even demonstrated the spiciness level of Peruvian chillies by actually bringing all varieties of them on our table. Classy!
The food was beautifully presented like a fine dining setup and the taste matches the look. We actually left the restaurant feeling that we know more about Peruvian culture and food."

Restaurants in Cusco | About Cusco
This stylish restaurant on the Plaza de Armas, brings the Peruvian shore right to the heart of the Andes. This modern cevicheria (a restaurant devoted to ceviche) only utilizes the best fish and shellfish as well as neighborhood active ingredients, which will unquestionably make you feel like you are resting exactly on the anchors delighting in the catch of the day. Ceviche (or: cebiche) is a Peruvian seafood recipe generally made from fresh raw fish marinated in lemmon juice, spiced with unions and hot peppers.
The 15 Best Restaurants in Cusco (+ breweries & cafés!)
One of my finest meals in Cusco was at Ceviche Seafood Kitchen (also called Ceviche Meat & Wine Co.) This upscale restaurant is bright and modern, with professional and welcoming staff. It is conveniently located right at the northwestern corner of the Plaza de Armas, with a few tables offering plaza views. Most dishes I saw being served at Ceviche Seafood Kitchen were picture worthy.
8 Of The Best Restaurants In Cusco, Peru 2025
Peru is also famous for ceviche – even recognised by UNESCO as an intangible part of Peruvian heritage. So I had to include a top spot to try it for yourself and that’s perfectly named, Ceviche Seafood Kitchen. The reviews of this place speak for themselves, the food is incredibly high quality, the seafood is fresh and the flavours are authentic.
Where to Eat in Cusco - Peru’s Foodie Paradise
You may think that just because it’s located on the main square, it must be a tourist trap. But even though it’s not the cheapest restaurant in town, the quality is up there. If you can, choose a seat by the window side on the second floor, to enjoy a great view of Cusco’s Plaza de Armas.
Best Restaurants in Cusco City. Top Gastronomical Experiences!
It’s a long national tradition, it is raw fish in small chunks, cooked for hours only by a lot of lemon juice. On the side, it comes with sweet potato, lettuce, onion, corn, algae and can be spicy or not. It’s really a heavenly dish.
The Best Restaurants for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner in Cusco, Peru
We kept trying to find a place a local had told us about but failed and thought, well shit they have good reviews on TripAdvisor, let’s give them a try. WOW WOW WOW. I am so glad we did!. Ceviche Kitchen was such an awesome place.
8 best places to eat in Cusco
It's exactly as its described - superb seafood in a light, airy, modern top-floor restaurant (most around the square are, by the way, unless you head to McDonald's or Starbucks) with friendly service and mostly tourist clientele.
The best restaurants in Cusco Peru!
Ceviche seafood kitchen, located on the plaza actually, needs no explanation. Even though Cuzco is not located at the coast, it is still worth going here for a typical Peruvian ceviche dish, along with a Pisco sour.
The Cusco Conundrum - by Sutee Dee
If you can’t wait until to Lima to start enjoying ceviche, check out Ceviche Seafood Kitchen in Plaza de Armas. It’s the closest thing to a Lima-style cevichería I’ve seen in Cusco (I think they fly in their fish).
