Rose Cafe is celebrated as an authentic, old-school Filipino panciteria, particularly loved for its signature Pancit Guisado and Mami, which are considered the best in Baguio by many locals. Diners appreciate the generous servings and affordable prices. However, some find the taste to be unexceptional or the ambiance to be lacking in renovation.
"Best pancit guisado and mami in Baguio. They also serve lechon kawali, fried chicken and pata, which you can only availa at around 11am. Expect a long que by 10am until 12nn, then 3-4pm, Sometimes the cafe hasn't openned , yet you will see people fall in line.

"A lot of Baguio locals love this place. Sad to say I am not one of them. I don't mind lining up and eating in a small place as long as the wait is worth it. I don't understand the hype. The soup broth was good. The lechon kawali was served cold but still crispy. But the pancit miki guisado was nothing special. Service was fast. Took them only less than 5 minutes to serve our food after we placed our order."

"Quick Review: I've tasted a lot of 'pancit' in my life may be it batil patong, canton, guisado, etc.. I even cooked my own and to my surprise, the hype on this pancit guisado is not even top notch or one of a kind.
Price is not that justifiable (125 at the time). Few toppings (3-4 thins slices of meat, few slice of wombok, few strips of carrot and thats it), can still taste the miki from its pack (unwashed properly), the whole thing is soaking in a bland/watery soup and served in a small plate to make it look like a big serving.
Place was easily accessible, interiors are gloomy and dim (most likely never had renovations), space is quite cramped and every table is shared. Cashier was somehow rude and kind of a snobber and was placed in an unusual location/placement.
I, personally, would not even categorize it as a cafe (yet). It would be careless of me to judge the food by only the miki but that's what the place is famous for."
