"As a Thai person, I found Thai Basil’s take on Thai cuisine quite interesting—it’s more of a creative reinterpretation than authentic Thai food. They offer a lunch bento and noodle soup, and while the flavors aren’t traditional, the food completely blew my expectations. It tasted really good for what it was—a delicious, modern twist on Thai flavors.
If you’re looking for true authenticity, this might not be it, but if you want a tasty, well-executed fusion-style meal, Thai Basil delivers. Definitely worth a try!"

While the Pad Thai it’s not quite like the authentic version, it was still tasty and enjoyable.
Most of the menu items are for sharing, making it a great spot for groups dining in. They also offer bento meals for those looking for quick individual orders.

Boracay Food Trip: 35 Restaurants Worth Traveling For [UPDATED MAY 2023] Pepe Samson
Another restaurant I never noticed in D’Mall (and yes, another Thai restaurant in this list), Thai Basil is a must-try when you’re craving for simple Thai food done right. The presentation here is unassuming—exactly how you’d see the food when you go to the casual restaurants in Bangkok—and what first came to mind when I tasted the food was my first ever meal in Thailand, in Chiang Rai. We loved how legit everything is, from the Tom Yum and Tom Kha Kai (one of my favorites) to the Panang Curry, Pad Thai, and Pad Kra Pao, which, to my fucking joy, was actually spicy (other restaurants insist on serving this SWEET).
