What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Ooma Japanese Cuisine offers a visually stunning dining experience with creative fusion dishes that blend Japanese and Filipino flavors. While many praise the artful presentation and unique offerings like the Truffle Steak Maki, some reviewers note inconsistencies in flavor, occasional saltiness, and smaller than expected serving sizes. Service is generally attentive, though occasional understaffing can lead to delays.
"Took my family out to Ooma, and I have to say, the presentation of the food was stunning—every dish looked like a work of art. While the flavors didn’t always match the visual appeal, there were definitely some standout items.
The Truffle Steak Maki was a 10/10—a unique experience that was both flavorful and delicious. Definitely a must-try! The hanger steak, on the other hand, was just okay—visually appealing but nothing particularly special taste-wise. Other dishes, like the gyudon, were decent but lacked that authentic Japanese depth of flavor.
Overall, Ooma is a great spot for a quick bite, especially if you appreciate beautifully plated food. While some dishes could use a bit more refinement in terms of taste, the experience was still enjoyable. Would recommend it for those looking for a modern take on Japanese cuisine"

"Excellent Japanese dining experience at Ooma. The salmon sushi roll was fresh, the ebi tempura perfectly crispy, and the hot plate steak with cheesy sauce was a standout. Even with a full house on Maundy Thursday, the staff provided attentive and helpful service. Definitely a place to try - Ooma!"
