Reviews Summary
Romulo Cafe is celebrated for its authentic Filipino comfort food and generous portions, often highlighted as a taste of home. The ambiance, rich with history and photographs of Carlos P. Romulo, adds to the unique dining experience. While many praise the service and food quality, some reviews mention minor inconsistencies in dish preparation, such as the Pansit Puti, and occasional attentiveness lapses from staff.
"Romulo Café has wonderful service, from the parking attendant to the wait staff. They genuinely want to make your dining experience memorable. The wallpaper design is carried through the different rooms as well as in the printed placemats. The food really makes balikbayans smile: honest, satisfying home cooking."

"We had a pleasant dining experience overall with one minor issue— the food was very good and servings were generous. Staff were okay too.
We just had one minor issue: the pansit puti was served last (we were already almost done eating), and the noodles were cut into very short pieces. It was also unexpectedly soupy and soggy.
When we asked about it, the staff said, it was really made that way (they really cut up the noodles) and added, “Kahit ganyan ’yan, ma’am, masarap ’yan.”
We appreciated the reassurance, though we don’t remember it being served that way before - I actually highly recommended it because I remember it being good. This time, it felt like it wasn’t made as well as the other dishes, which were all good.
Still, overall a nice experience aside from the pansit puti."
