Noki Nocs Savory House

Halo-halo, which translates to “mixed,” is a cold dessert made by layering crushed ice with a medley of sweet beans, evaporated milk or coconut milk, other sweet additions like corn and fruit gummies, and a generous topping of ice cream or leche flan. It is sometimes referred to as a beverage but is typically eaten with a spoon much like a layered ice cream sundae. One of the most popular places to try halo-halo is at Noki Nocs Savory House, although unique combinations can be found throughout the area.

This frozen treat is a mix of assorted ingredients like shaved ice, milk, sweet beans and fruits with ice cream and leche flan on top. Well recommended by locals, the classic Pinoy favorite from Noki Nocs is said to be one of the best halo-halo in town that will surely satisfy your sweet tooth. You can also pair your cold summer delight with palabok or hamburger to complete your merienda.

Across Palawan Provincial Capitol is Noki Nocs Savory House, a local restaurant that serves the best halo-halo in the province, if not in the whole Philippines!. Noki Nocs' halo-halo has the finest and the smoothest shaved ice which is already infused with cream and sugar. There's no need of mixing as the ice alone is a dessert itself.

If there’s one thing that you need to try at Nokinocs, it has to be their Halo-Halo. Traditionally, halo-halo is made with shaved ice but in this restaurant, they are using shaved frozen milk hence the milkier and creamier taste. It’s even better than Razon’s halo-halo if I dare say so myself.

We also made a quick visit to Noki Nocs Savory House a local fast food place that offers different Filipino dishes and then some. But we went there not for food but for their famous halo-halo. We skipped dessert at Balinsasayaw and went to Noki Nocs instead.

Another establishment that offers the same dish is Noki Nocs Savory House (Lacao Street). However, the reason we dropped by is for a taste of their famous halo-halo (shaved ice). Believe us when we tell you people actually line up for this dessert.

A friend of mine who recently went to Puerto Princesa told me to try Noki Nocs’ Halo-Halo. Luckily this was the first meal that we had went we landed, along with pizza, and boy it was one of the best!

At Noki Nocs Savory House, their super creamy halo-halo is a local favourite, made with the perfect ratio of crushed ice, leche flan, ube, and more. It’s not just a dessert; it’s an experience.

After our scrumptious lunch, we tried the Halo-halo at Nokinocs Savory House. Nokinocs is located at the junction along Rizal Avenue. We took a trike and paid 30 Pesos.
