Reviews Summary

Yoghurt House is a beloved Sagada institution, consistently praised for its delicious homemade yogurt, generous portions, and cozy ambiance. While many rave about the authentic yogurt and hearty meals, a few find the yogurt slightly sour or certain dishes bland. The pleasant atmosphere, especially the balcony seating, and reasonable prices for the ample servings make it a highly recommended spot for both locals and tourists.

"We had a great meal and experience here. We ordered, Baked Chicken, Homemade hot chocolate drink, Bolognese, Yoghurt granola with fruits, Plain yoghurt, and Roasted Pork. The homemade how chocolate is a must try. Their food was not quite expensive. They have big servings. Their yoghurt was authentic among the other yoghurt we tried but not to my taste since it is sour."

"We had a late brunch here. Good thing they were open on new year. I was looking forward to the food here but I was not a fan of the baked chicken, which i found to be a bit bland. I loved the pasta though and the beef were just great 👌 price range is OK as they have big servings. The yogurt was also pretty authentic but not to my taste since it's sour. Overall food was OK but did not blow me away. They have 2 floors and good seats are on 2nd floor. Bathroom was clean and decent."

Missy Lim

"The restaurant is nicely located not far from the centre of Sagada and also has a balcony overlooking the main street, so a perfect location.

I ordered the rosti dish and a strawberry yogurt drink. The rosti was disappointing, too dry and too oily, although the taste was fine. The yogurt drink was very thin and a bit sharper than I was expecting. Overall, I was a bit disappointed considering all the good reviews."

Located in South Road, Sagada’s Yoghurt House immediately welcomes its visitors with a cozy, home-like atmosphere. Although the restaurant has a limited seating capacity to accommodate its diners especially during peak hours, the place is still perfect to relax and unwind after a long day of exploring the town.As its name implies, the visit to the famous restaurant demands one to experience their offerings of yoghurt. With different toppings such as chocolate chip, strawberries, and even locally produced honey, each order assures an explosion of flavor unique to the freshly produced yoghurt because of its sensational smoothness and tangy finish.Beyond their signature yoghurt offerings are other delectables that visitors can choose from.

That Thing Called Sagada: 7 Food Stops You Should Never Miss On Your Visit

One of the most sought-after places in Sagada is Yoghurt House, a two-storey building with wooden tables and a cozy interior. The restaurant is usually packed in the afternoon with both local and foreign tourists who drop by for, you guess right, their exceptional yogurt – creamy and light treats that you can garnish with granola and an assortment of other fresh fruits. If you’re looking for something heavier, the restaurant also offers meals like their breakfast sets, pasta, and sandwiches.

Last-minute trip idea for 2017: An adventure in Sagada

Sumaguing Cave has three stages with varying terrain conditions, from manageable to challenging. Dress appropriately: light clothing and non-slip footwear is the go-to look; although at some point in the cave, you will be asked by your guide to remove your footwear as bare feet provide better traction. Spelunking can seem daunting, especially for first timers, but the natural ice-cold pools and beautiful limestone formations—and just the thrill of the experience—make it one for the books.

Why a Trip to Sagada is Always a Good Idea

Yoghurt House – we only got to try their famous Yoghurt and breakfast options – pancakes with fruits and Yoghurt. The pancakes were surprisingly good despite the sour taste of natural yoghurt. The yoghurt with choco chip cookies was not really a good combination, so, I would suggest that you stick with fruits and yoghurt combination.

What’s new, Sagada

You haven’t been to Sagada if you haven’t tried dining at Yoghurt House, one of the pioneering restaurants there. Their banana granola yoghurt is still the best for me, sticking to the old formula of yoghurt making when it comes to thickness and sourness. And I would always go back for their roasted eggplant in basil pasta.
