"Excellent restaurant. The queue was a bit long but it was so worth the wait. The food is incredible! One of the best meals I’ve ever had. The quantities were so generous, and the quality of the ingredients was amazing. We also ordered desserts that we loved so much. The service too was great as the waiters were so nice and welcoming. The atmosphere is so fun and the decor is original. Truly can’t recommend this place enough and I only wish I’d tried it earlier in my trip so I could go back!"

Chleb i Wino Gdańsk is located just off the east bank of the Old Motława River. This is the side where a wooden boardwalk extends from the corner of Green Bridge ( Most Zielony)/Stągiewna Street to just beyond the rotating footbridge (Kładka Św. Grzegorza na Wyspę Spichrzów). The restaurant is located just a few metres away from the footbridge.
Where to eat in Gdańsk?
**Chelb i Wino Restaurant is for sure one of my favourite restaurants in Gdańsk. It is a little bit more expensive than Sapore (but really not a lot, the prices are mostly 25+ polish zloty per dish) but I would say the climate of this place is also better. You can choose where you want to have a table - inside or outside.

There’s always, always a line whenever I walked by Chleb I Wino and I was curious. Dinner time reservations are highly recommended restaurants on the main promenade. Since we didn’t have one, we opted for breakfast instead – and I understood the hype.
