When it comes to comfort it is worth to mention Copernicus as it is the only Krakow’s restaurant that has received 3 fork and spoon symbols. The rest of the mentioned restaurants has received 1 or 2 such prizes.

This is not only because of the polite and efficient service, but also as the quality of the food has never disappointed. Great place to sit outside & people watch with a cool glass of beer in the summer and perfect in the winter for feeling cosy & warming yourself up with their fine European menu. I can also recommend Szara as a perfectly charming place in which to consume your breakfast as you prepare your mind for the day ahead.

For delicious coffee in the city centre of Krakow, at Main Market Square (Rynek Głowny), head straight to Szara. You might think because of its location that only tourists come here, but this isn’t the case. The café is an extension of a well-known restaurant nearby and its entrance is a bit hidden, so only a few in-the-know (or just lucky) travellers get there on their own.

For lunch, try… Szara – https://szara.pl/en/, one of the best restaurants in the area. I was lucky to be there in full season of chanterelle so I took advantage of it.
