What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Quay Lagos boasts a chic waterfront setting with stunning marina views, making it a popular spot for both locals and tourists. Diners praise the delicious food, particularly the fish and chips and Sunday roast, and the attentive service. However, some find the prices a bit high for the area, and a few have noted issues with undercooked food or a lack of air conditioning on hot days.
"We have become recent loyal customers to Quay and travel from Tavira specifically to dine there every so often as a treat. The high rating reviews here really are warranted. We’ve tried their Sunday roast, christmas dinner and fish & chips. All are top notch and good value for money. Their deserts are first class too. We shall be back, keep up the sterling work guys!"

"Quick little stop for a snack. Very good Portuguese Shrimp, nice low spice flavor and Cheesy Garlic Bread was tasty too. My wife had Roasted Mediterranean Vegetable open faced sandwich with goat cheese. She liked that. We had sangrias & cocktails too. I read good things online. It’s located right on the Marina, so there’s nice views and good people watching. Prices were a tad high, but I think they bill it as a dinner place. Service was lackluster but it was a quieter part of the day, so no knock on them. It’s Probably better in the prime season. Overall good spot and it had central location to a lot of things and activities."

"We were a bit disappointed with this restaurant. The food was reasonable quality without being great. It was also more expensive that similar restaurants around it.It was an extremely hot day but restaurant has no air conditioning making it very uncomfortable to eat.
I was also charged for a glass of tap water which is a bit rich. The one good thing was the service with the floor staff doing their best to find diners the coolest spots in the restaurant to eat and offering great table service."
