"Our dinner at Dona Maria in our last night in Porto was a magical experience. We sat on the terrace and watched the sunset over the city. The food (I had the pork and my husband had the duck) was phenomenal. Order the Dona Maria cocktail if you want a special experience. But even more than the food, our server Eric took the best care of us. When we told him that we were here on our honeymoon, he went above and beyond to make it a special experience. One of the best meals we've had in Portugal!!"

"Dona Maria is a very lovely restaurant. Located within the Forte de Gaia Autograph Collection hotel, it brings a modern twist to traditional Portuguese food. The food options are what you’d expect, savoury, well cooked and served but elevated with some interesting ingredient choices that I wouldn’t have expected. Octopus was great, as well as the cheese selection for entrees. View of Porto is also amazing."
