"Saw this place on our way to another restaurant that happened to be closed when we arrived. Since O Lavrador had caught our eye we decided to give it a try and I am so glad that we did! The restaurant was adorable inside and full of locals but we were seated quickly. We ordered the house specialty of steak on a stone and it was delicious! It was exactly the kind of simple, traditional meal we were looking for and easily became our favorite meal in Portugal so far. The cheese starter and the baked apple and red fruit cheesecake were excellent as well--don't miss out!"
