Famous for their delicious salads – try the Asian beef or the grilled halloumi -, toast, burgers and pretty much everything on their well-curated menu, Simbio is one of the most popular places in town. Take that as an incentive and not a deterrent, and you will find relaxation in their cozy back yard.

Sundays are great for brunch at Simbio and art gallery hopping. More recently, I’ve started going to lesser known museums like the Frederic and Cecilia Cuțescu-Storck Art Museum and watching independent movies at Cinema Elvire Popesco, housed in the beautiful French Institute.

Tucked away behind a restored 19th-century house, Simbio offers one of the most charming urban gardens in Bucharest. The brick patio, climbing greenery, and relaxed layout make it an ideal spot for brunch, craft cocktails, or quiet dinners with friends. Whether you’re indoors or out back in the courtyard, the entire space feels curated without trying too hard, like your favourite friend’s house if your friend happened to be a chef.

This small, but extremely welcoming, homy restaurant offers everything you need after a long morning of walking through Bucharest’s old town. In warmer weather, the sunny courtyard filled with trees, plants and comfortable chairs is the perfect option (but make sure to book ahead!). On the inside is a cute cafe decorated with antique furniture, bright couches and the most perfect decorations adorning the walls.

A delicious visit to Simbio and you will understand the essence of this gastro bar and why it is one of the most popular in town. Simbio stands for a symbiosis between the house, old yet entirely tastefully renovated, and the modern style of the chic and popular urban bistro. One look into the open kitchen, a taste of its varied and contemporary menu, and you are hooked!

Simbio is such a pretty place in an old building that gives you the option to cosy up by the bar, breathe in the fresh air in the leafy backyard or chill out on the terrace and upper floor. We picked the seat next to a cuddly kitty, of course. Try the fresh smoothies, which are not like smoothies at all, but very delicious and refreshing nonetheless.

Simbio is housed in a building that you would probably pass by if you didn’t know about it. Which is a shame because when once you enter the building through the garden, you’ll find yourself in a beautiful old house that’s newly decorated. It has several rooms where you can sit down and the square bar is in the middle of the building.

Simbio is one of those unique places which will make you feel cozy as if you’ve entered a friend’s kitchen. If you’ll be visiting Bucharest during the summertime or when it’s warmer outside, then you will be able to have your breakfast in their beautiful indoor garden. Simbio: If you’re a bit tired of Romanian food and are craving some classic “Western” food (for lack of better word), be sure to check out Simbio. They have everything from fancy brunch to sandwiches to smoothies. Plus, they have a cute outdoor garden setting where you can bask in the sun when the weather’s nice out.

I had lunch at Simbio during my visit to Bucharest and it felt very like somewhere you would find in any big city in Ireland. Fresh, healthy sounding juices, big serving salads as well as mile high burgers and comfort dishes that won’t break the bank. I chose the pulled duck sandwich, a new pulled meat for me!.

Simbio is cute and simple coffee shop that also has a nice food menu too. Come in for all-day breakfast or get a burger and fries if you want something more filling. This café is small and cozy and is a perfect place to stop in between meals when you want a quick break from walking around the city!

Winner of the slowest service in town, Simbio makes a lovely choice for brunch or breakfast in Bucharest. Not opening until 10 am on Sunday (Bucharest is not an early morning town), the outdoor courtyard is a lovely setting for breakfast. Arrive early or make a booking as the courtyard was full.

The chefs at Simbio play with fresh ingredients all day long and the kitchen is open, so you can always see how they cook. Breakfast can be enjoyed at any time, the mo-fri lunch menu changes weekly and for dinner, they use seasonal ingredients. If it’s summer you can enjoy the relaxing garden.

Poate nu te-ai fi gândit din prima la varianta aceasta dar, din fericire, s-au gândit cei de la Simbio. Pentru că la ei găsești un Naked Burger: burger de vită cu roșii uscate, avocado și brânză de capră, servit cu salată verde și dressing vinaigrette (fără chiflă) . Chiar este bun, să știi!.

Zoals het motto van Simbio suggereert, moeten gasten hier komen voor koffie of meer. De hele dag ontbijt, smakelijke broodjes en heerlijke smoothies worden bereid met de meest verse ingrediënten. Burgers en friet staan ​​ook op het menu voor diegenen die behoefte hebben aan iets zwaarder.

Simbio is known as a cool, hipsterish place in the old part of the city, central, where you go for a coffee and a quick snack or have brunch with a couple of friends. The options are great for everybody. Simbio offers catering and is often seen at street festivals with its food truck.

Simbio este un local perfect pentru a lua brunch-ul și pentru a mânca ceva sănătos. Au tot felul de preparate în meniu care merită încercate. Localul este poziționat într-o casă veche și are și o grădină foarte frumoasă și intimă.

If you are looking for a good meal, I can highly recommend Simbio restaurant. It had a great atmosphere and the best meal of my 5-day trip in Bucharest. Just prepare to walk a bit in order to get there.
