What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Dachniki offers a highly nostalgic Soviet-era dining experience with its unique decor and ambiance. While many praise the authentic atmosphere and some dishes like pelmeni and vareniki, others have found certain dishes like the cold beetroot soup and beef stroganoff disappointing. The service is generally described as friendly, but the limited seating and occasional long wait times are common considerations.
"Very nice service. I went for the Borsh and potato pancake and was very satisfied. Their tea with ginger is also nice. Very pleasant atmosphere inside, cosy with good music and soviet decor. I did not find it at first because the name it's not Dachniki but Soviet. Either way, look for a green entrance and take the stairs down."

"Nice little cozy restaurant serving authentic Russian food good for its BBQ and grilled food. Try the fish and mutton soups and pork ribs. Good selection of local beer, try the honey beer, very unique. The place is in a basement with limited tables, go early to avoid disappointment or waiting. No reservations taken."
