What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Restaurant Fiz is celebrated for its modern interpretation of Malay cuisine, with guests consistently praising the creative use of indigenous ingredients and the exceptional service, including personal interactions with the chef. The dishes are lauded for their balanced flavors and thoughtful preparation. While the experience is considered upscale and a treat, a few diners have noted issues with reservation management.
"Went back to Fiz today for the current season’s menu. If you’re looking for a modern interpretation of Malay cuisine, I think this would be a delicious place to start. Yes, admittedly not cheap at $228 but if you want to give yourself a treat, or if you want to take someone to impress them with Nusantara cuisine, this place would be it.
The amount of labour that goes into the dishes is nothing short of amazing. And you don’t feel cheated because you really do get fed properly as the photos will testify."

"My visit to Fiz was easily the best dining experience of this year so far.
The service here blew us away - loved interacting with the chef and figuring out what to order. You can tell here that everyone really cares a lot that you have a great experience.
The food itself - oof, we were absolutely blown away. Every dish was beautifully balanced, always highlighting the distinctive flavors you would associate with SE Asian cuisine. Lots of sourness, hints of sweetness, pungency and HEAT! In fact, I’d gladly return just to eat a meal of plain rice and sambal (if they would allow me to 😂). And to highlight the star for me - the Durian soufflé. Truly the dessert of my dreams.
I am going to drag any family / friends visiting Singapore to this place."

"Beautiful experience celebrating a milestone together with amazing service and delectable food. The highlight for us was definitely the creative use of Malay flavours in Western-styled cuisine. Top-notch flavour profile with all the sauces. Many thanks to the chef for taking time to come over to explain your food's concept and to serve us. We enjoyed the entire experience tremendously and would highly recommend. 🫶🏻"
