"This is a great little restaurant in a good location in Simon’s Town. The dumplings were delicious and we sampled the prawn dumplings and the steamed pork buns as wells as peanut butter noodles. It was all great and very filling. The pork buns were my favourite and accompanied by the chilli oil which I loved. We also had a watermelon iced tea and a cashew and avocado smoothie which was so refreshing and tasty. The staff were pleasant and friendly and I would highly recommend this restaurant."

The dumplings were absolutely fantastic – by far the best we have had in Cape Town– and the sushi and poke bowl ingredients were so fresh. The service was quick and friendly. The decor is also very cute and the restaurant is right on the harbour, so the view and atmosphere is great. We wish we could have stayed in Simon’s Town longer to visit Red Dumpling a few more times."
