What Travellers Say

Reviews Summary

Nub offers a unique fine-dining experience with innovative Italian-Chilean-Canarian fusion cuisine, celebrated for its creative presentation and flavor combinations. While many praise the exceptional food and personalized service, some diners find the extended duration and occasionally uneven seasoning or temperature of dishes to be drawbacks. The opportunity to meet the chefs and the overall immersive experience are significant highlights for most guests.

"Nub was everything we hoped for and more with a lot of unexpected surprises along the way. Yes, you do need to accept it is an “experience” and it does take a full 4 hours to get from start to finish. If you really want to enjoy Nub as we did, just sit back relax have some healthy conversation, enjoy the wines and let yourself be immersed in the overall experience rather than being overly judgemental as some diners were. The staff couldn’t be faulted and the food was utterly flawless. The opportunity to meet the Michelin starred chef couple at the end of the night and have a lovely conversation over desserts was a welcome treat for my husband and I.

It was well worth every penny as an unforgettable degustation experience. Interestingly enough my husband who is probably the most meaty person you’ll ever meet found the vegetable soup to be his favourite dish and he finished every single one of the dessert bites despite normally not having a sweet tooth!"

"We were excited to try NUB, thinking we were going to have our minds blown with the best food on the island. Our journey to heaven was nothing less than a train ride through a nightmare you wanted to leave early from. EVERYTHING lacked seasoning, leaving you to eat bland lamb, bland fish, and cold spaghetti. Yes, cold and bland spaghetti is a dish in a Michelin star restaurant somehow. It almost tasted like it was either frozen or canned. I brought my future wife to her first Michelin starred restaurant with this experience and I had to explain that this is not normal. Please save your money and try another Michelin starred restaurant on the island. This restaurant is too obsessed with moving you around to different tables (decent concept on paper) for different meals, than actually serving you good food. Our disappointment changed our thoughts on exploring more Michelin starred restaurants, especially on the island, but I want to give other restaurants the benefit of the doubt that they aren't making the same mistakes. That aside, I will at least point out that the atmosphere (I could do without the dessert room) and the service were still very good. The employees here obviously care and do a great job."

"We went to Nub to celebrate 40’s
Birthday (big deal), we were very excited about it as it’s very difficult to find a good,
Vegetarian friendly, Michelin star restaurant.

I must say the first bite was mind blowing, both vegetarian and normal one, sadly, from there it all went downhill.

Presentation was mediocre at best, they focus most on the year of vinegar rather than on the food itself, the second bite was bad (vegetarian) and by the face of disgust of the non vegetarian - worse, the following were just dull and nothing special.

These were on the terrace which actually do have nice ambiance, design is cosy and warm and the atmosphere, in the terrace, really feels luxurious.

From there we were moved to the main hall, cold, grey, too much light and dull zone, that doesn’t feel welcoming at all.

The food there started bad, one dish worth mentioning is a COLD RED PASTA (yes, like the one you make for your kids - hot - and then eats from the fridge), we thought it was a joke (a bad one) but this tiny portion of cold kids pasta was actually was of the mains…

At some point the food started being ok (the foamed cheese was nice), but nothing even close to be worthy of so much money per person, or a Michelin star.

For the desert we were moved to another area, too bright for me, though the collections of figurines had a nice touch, at this area we were served deserts, which were ok, and met the chef.

Back to the main area we got more deserts to the table (which were much better than the ones in the other area) and a birthday cake (which was actually really good, but not part of the normal menu).

Doesn’t worth the money."

The Best Restaurants In Tenerife Spain

Costa Adeje, on the south coast, is arguably home to Tenerife’s best resorts. It’s also the lucky location of this restaurant – pronounced Noob – run by a husband-and-wife team of Italian and Chilean descent, who fuse their European and Latin American cultures into every aspect of their innovative menu. After receiving their Michelin star in the northern city of San Cristobal de la Laguna, the chefs headed south to open this modern indoor-outdoor space at the Hotel Bahia del Duque, not far from the Ritz.
