What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Diners consistently praise Restaurante Chino La Villa for its delicious and authentic Chinese cuisine, complemented by exceptionally friendly and welcoming service, particularly from the owner. The cozy, traditional atmosphere adds to the overall pleasant dining experience. While most find the food and service outstanding, a few reviews mention that some dishes and drinks can be overpriced, and it's wise to confirm prices beforehand.
"We chanced upon this spot as it was close to our Airbnb and really struck gold! The owner made us feel welcome immediately and after we mentioned our taste preferences, she started suggesting several off-menu dishes for us to try.
The star of the show was this stir fry bamboo dish that just blew us away. The owner told us how her sister picks the bamboo shoots during their peak freshness from mountain regions in China, and WOW, you can really taste the difference! It had this tender-crisp texture and depth of flavor I've never experienced with bamboo before.
The local shrimp was grilled to absolute perfection – incredibly juicy and just letting the natural shrimp flavors shine. The mapo tofu and the beef stir-fry with spring onions and peppers also had us scraping our plates CLEAN. The spice level was spot-on – enough to make it exciting but not overwhelming, and it paired perfectly with the rice. We couldn't stop going back for "just one more bite"! We will come back again every time we're back in Mallorca.
RUN, don’t walk, here!"

"The staff were friendly, and the food was good, although not authentic. What really surprised me, though, was the bill. Since we speak Chinese, we were given a Chinese menu with no prices listed. Two bowls of white rice cost €6.40, and two orange juices came to €11.90. It was definitely overpriced compared to other restaurants on the island. I’d recommend checking the prices before ordering."

"The food was very good here. We had half a crispy duck with pancakes to share, and it was one of the best I've ever had. We were served actuall duck breast with dservice eliciously crispy skin. A far cry from the dried up shreds you normally get in the UK. The main (Chow Mein) was very good too, and it was clear all the food had been freshly prepared. Service was very friendly although some of the staff had limited English but we still managed to communicate. Would go again"
