"Best dish was the egg, potato and prawns really well crafted, the beans were nice but nothing special. However the steak 750gram chuleton was terrible. Very poor quality it was mostly gristle. Not a place for steak.
Service one waiter (tall) was poor, other waiter who wore glasses was much better.

El Alcaravea, situado en la Plaza de la Catedral y con vistas a la Catedral, es uno de los restaurantes de Ávila más emblemáticos donde comer el chuletón a la brasa y las judías del Barco. Además de probar sus platos estrella, no te puedes ir sin pedir las croquetas de jamón ibérico, queso de cabrales y carabineros (dos de cada) y la exquisita paletilla de cordero que puedes acompañar con un buen vino. El precio de unos 35 euros por persona es un poco elevado, aunque la calidad del producto, el lugar y el excelente servicio lo hacen más que razonable.
