Reviews Summary

Diners rave about Albè Barcelona for its exquisite Lebanese-Catalan fusion cuisine, vibrant yet calm Japandi atmosphere, and exceptional service. Many highlight the creative tasting menus as a great value, praising dishes like the smoked labneh, duck, and chocolate desserts. While most experiences are overwhelmingly positive, occasional comments suggest a few dishes might be slightly unbalanced for some palates.

"What a wonderful experience!
We called very last minute on a Sunday but they were happy to have us. It was also my bday and the staff made sure it was a special lunch. All was great: the atmosphere is very calm and elegant (Japandi vibes), we took the long menu and loved every dish, and of course, staff was super pleasant.
The tasting menu is diverse and includes local seasonal products. Would definitely repeat it and already recommended it to all my foodies friends!"

Nidia Félix

"Really nothing but great things to say about our experience in Albé! Xenia, the lovely waitress, looked after us so well from the moment we walked in the door. Her service is second to none, and the tasting menu matched up to the wonderful descriptions Xenia laid out for us. Between the creative menu, the food cooked to perfection (and packed full of flavour), and the 5 star service, this place is definitely worth checking out."

Phil Madafferi

"Wow! What an incredible experience! We did the tasting menu, and it was plenty of food. The fusion of Lebanese and Spanish tapas was super special as was our waitress Xenia who deserves all the praise for making the night what it was for us. We can’t wait to visit Albé again on our next trip to Barcelona"

The 25 Best Restaurants In Barcelona - Barcelona

Albé is what happens when a Lebanese restaurateur moves to Barcelona, falls in love with the produce, and starts combining Lebanese techniques with Catalan ingredients. The modern, plant-filled space is the perfect place for a daytime lunch (when the front dining area by the entrance fills with natural light), but it works equally well for a romantic, mood-lit dinner in the cozy interior room. Dishes include stuff like smoked labneh with pita, baklava topped with Palamós red shrimp tartare, and beef tongue served with Lebanese hummus.

Albé is one of those places that you plan your return visit before you’ve even finished your meal because it’s got it all. Sleek interiors, a warm and thoughtful service, and best of all a brilliant menu that mixes Catalan products with Lebanese flavours. Rumour has it people return for the chocolate pudding alone – which frankly, is not surprising when it’s served with a silky meringue, orange blossom caramel, and cardamom whipped cream.
