This is an upmarket gastro bar which ticks all the right boxes: pale wooden benches and counter tables, modern art on exposed brick walls and blackboards scrawled with the day’s specials. The tapas are creative, and might include anything from a courgette flower stuffed with mozzarella in a tempura crust to succulent beef with black peppercorns.

The name looks like someone’s name and last name (Paco meaning Francis), but when said out loud it sounds like “pa’ comer algo” (just to eat something). They also have zucchini flowers!

One of the coolest things about Paco Meralgo is that the name is a play on words. It means “para comer algo” which can be translated as “to eat something.” The name is fitting because that’s exactly what you’ll do there. Paco Meralago isn’t your typical tapas bar.

Paco Meralgo is more than a restaurant, it’s a culinary experience. Located in Eixample, in a cozy but busy atmosphere, you’ll find a large tapas menu with plenty of seafood plates. Efficiency is key and the service is fast yet thorough.

Tapas bar with a buzzy vibe and modern stool seating, serving seafood plates, croquettes, and a few kinds of tartare. Each dish is exceedingly fresh and it's hard to go wrong.

Innovative tapas in the heart of the Eixample, Paco Meralgo's minimalist decor doesn't take away from its warm atmosphere and absolutely delicious food....
