Reviews Summary
Terrassa Martínez offers a breathtaking dining experience with stunning views of Barcelona's port and Mediterranean Sea. While many rave about the specialty rice dishes and appetizers like tartare and croquettes, some diners found the paella to be a letdown for its price. Service is generally praised for being attentive and friendly, though a few reviews mention slow service or overcooked seafood. The ambiance is consistently described as pleasant and inviting, making it a memorable spot for special occasions.
"Excepcional place, we came to have a go to the rices which are one of the specialties and we loved everything. We had a great table with views and the service it was amazing, the food it was delicious full of taste it was certainly the best rice I have ever eaten.
Will definitely come back and this time I will have the rice just for me.
The wine it was also good.
The overall experience it was amazing."

"Nice setting and great service, but the paella was a major letdown…
We visited this restaurant in Barcelona to celebrate my birthday. The venue itself is quite charming, but not an extraordinary view, though it has still a pleasant and inviting atmosphere. We had made a reservation about 4-5 days in advance and informed them via email that it was a special occasion. Despite the short notice, they arranged a lovely private balcony table for us, which really elevated the experience. The staff were very attentive and welcoming throughout the evening, and the service was one of the highlights.
As for the food, overall, it was generally good. However, the paella – which is one of their signature dishes – was a major disappointment. At €28 per person (€56 total for two), we had high expectations. Unfortunately, it fell short in almost every way. The rice was dry, the seafood was overcooked, and the shrimp hadn’t even been properly cleaned. The dish lacked the depth of flavor you’d expect from a place known for paella, and it just wasn’t enjoyable. It was honestly a shock, and it really dampened the mood of what was supposed to be a special night.
In summary, great service and a nice setting, but if you’re going there specifically for the paella, I’d think twice. At that price point, it should have been much, much better. I now see why there are mixed reviews. I think they don’t have a standard and unfortunately, I wouldn’t go there again."

"We came here for the first time 3 years ago and reminisce about that meal often because it was so exceptional. Last night we had the pleasure of revisiting, and it lived up to our precious memories!! Everything from the ambience, the amazing staff and of course the incredible food was to die for, we also lucked out and had a table with a great view.
Also, if this item is still on the menu, you must get it: the pork rib and wild garlic rice! The best paella we’ve had (and we’re big seafood fans), I really hope we get to taste it again sometime - in the meantime we’ll be reminiscing!"
