Reviews Summary

Gusta Pizza garners praise for its delicious, authentic wood-fired pizzas and worth-the-wait reputation, especially near local landmarks. However, a significant number of reviews highlight issues with inconsistent and poor service, with some diners feeling ignored or treated rudely, particularly if they are not locals. Despite the service complaints, the quality of the pizza itself often redeems the experience for many.

"Believe it or not, but we were served one of the best rib-eye steaks I have ever tasted in my life. Amazing! And the waiters were all very friendly. Thank you for making us feel welcome in your restaurant and thank you for the delicious rib-eye steaks!"

"Great food and good service. Pizzas where excellent and fried dough balls with Nutella dessert very nice too. Only slight issue no scooped ice-cream to go with any of the desserts which was a shame, but overall excellent."

"Where to start!
We arrived at the restaurant, staff wondering around setting tables up, not one of them asked if we were ok or needed any help. We had to ask to look at a menu to see if we fancied trying here. The menu looked good with plenty of choice so we thought we would give it a go. I had to go up the steps to ask the waitress if she had a table for 2. She looked at me and then just pointed to a table. The table wasn't made up for diners. We then waited around 20 minutes before having to ask said waitress if we could order food. She spent the whole time hanging around us near a service station but not once glancing in our direction. When she eventually came over at her own pace we ordered a jug of sangria and 2 glasses and our food. After around 10 minutes we had some cutlery and napkins just chucked on the corner of the table! After another 20 minutes of us wondering where our drinks were our food arrived! We then explained we hadn't got our drinks yet to turn around to find a girl bring us 2 glasses of sangria, I explained I had ordered a jug and they just shrugged, clearly not giving a damn. My husband ordered a pizza and I had the truffle pasta. While the pizza was very tasty according to my husband, my pasta was lacking any flavour at all. I had to get up myself to get some salt and oil. Not once did any member of staff come and ask how the food was or to see if we wanted more drinks. It felt like we were an inconvenience to them. They seemed to be a lot more friendly with the local Spanish diners. We had to again ask someone to clear the plates and get the bill all while at least 3 members of staff constantly walking past us. Honestly don't waste your money going here, awful service and bland food."
