What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Tapería Yuste is praised for its innovative tapas, beautiful plaza location, and friendly, professional service. Diners particularly enjoy unique dishes like squid ink croquettes and Ibérico pork. While many find the value for money excellent, some reviewers mention that the food can be too salty for their taste. Overall, it's a highly recommended spot for an upscale tapas experience in Cáceres.
"Great taperia. Best we tried in the area. I recommend the lamb, cheese and rucula tapas and the tuna tapas. Both were delicious."

"I was the first customer and received full attention from the waitress who prevented me to over-order. Two tapas and a secundo with gnocchi. The croquetas were average, the salmon was very tasty. However, I had just taken a first tasting or there were the gnocchi. Still only guest on the terrace so I informed the reason for the hurry. Well, the guy was quite a proficient English speaker and he used this to insult and ridicule me. I am 72 years young and have enjoyed food at I guess 2000 restaurants, both during my working life and now as a pensioner but I have never experienced anything similar. I of course refused further staying there. The waitress and another waiter were very nice, didn’t charge for the secundo. Didn’t see my friend again but he kindly let me take his picture. I guess he is the spoiled son of the owner of the restaurant. Go there if you like such an experience. I wasn’t impressed by the limited food I tasted."

"A very nice taperia in the old town of Cáceres where they serve local delicacies such as “Croquetas de Carrillera Ibérica”, “Artichoke with Ibérico Prosciutto” and others specialties. Service is very professional in a comfortable setting”. Recommended!"
