What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Diners rave about the authentic 'Real Spain' atmosphere and the delicious, traditional grilled meats and local specialties. The friendly staff and excellent service are frequently highlighted, though some note that the food can be a bit salty, and an occasional unenthusiastic staff member was mentioned. Overall, it's a highly recommended spot for a genuine local dining experience.
"We had a really memorable meal here - the food is based on local dishes and delicious! We had quite a few dishes to share, including : prawns, broad beans and asparagus, - now, bearing in mind that my husband is a committed carnivore, he was blown away by these 3 dishes - they were delicious! We also had a mixed local starter that comprised of 3 dips that were superb! The service was good and the environment is very typical of the area - perhaps the music was a bit unusual (rock!) but that added to its charm. I’d definitely go back!"

"Came to this place for lunch when we arrived to Cuenca and could find anything around that we liked (or was open). We were lucky to get a table as it was peak lunch time so would recommend booking in advance if you want to come here specifically. The overall impression is that this place is a no fuss restaurant with a lot of food options. They of course specialise in grilled good so meat is a good option. We didn’t feel like having a heavy lunch so opted for tapas style dishes. The staff were friendly and the food was good. A bit more expensive than what you would expect but overall a nice experience. I would come here to try the meat. Definitely recommended!"

"I liked the restaurant's atmosphere and the waitstaff was nice, but the person working behind the counter was very cold and unenthusiastic. The food was delicious. Before serving the meal, they brought us bread and later charged us for it on the bill."
