What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Bar La Riviera is praised for its incredible value, with affordable drinks that come with generous, choice-based tapas. The rustic, lively atmosphere and friendly service contribute to a great dining experience. However, some visitors note that while the food is good, the service can sometimes feel purely functional rather than warm, and vegetarian/vegan options may be limited.
"Your typical tapas place with good food and reasonable prices. They have a pretty good selection of dishes. My six-year-old loved the chicken. It was breaded and very tasty. We enjoyed the garlic shrimp. It was very busy when we went but they sat us quickly. The service was good and the waiter was quick."

"Went looking for a tapas place that gave it free to you with a drink order and had veggie options, this places was recommended! We were able to find a high top table close pretty quick even though it was packed. The server came to us immediately, got the drinks super quick and we were able to pick our free tapas (since I am veggie) In total we have 4 drinks and 4 tapas for a total of 11.50€ - would definitely go back again, not five stars because there were not too many vegan options. Great price, good service and choose your tapas! *left around 8pm and there was a queue forming outside!"

"Looked like this place was very popular, waited a bit in line to get seated. The service was great, fast and friendly. We enjoyed Chorizo sandwich (that wasn't too spicy) that came with fries and a Serrano ham omlette with pork kebab, salad and dogfish. Great price for those portions. Would come back again."

This was the third tapas bar we visited for lunch on that day, after Bodegas Castañeda and Bar Casa Julio. Most Granada tapas bars won’t allow you to choose which tapas to get with your drink but La Riviera is one of the few we went to that does. The bartender had us choose from their a la carte menu and we picked this croqueta and bocadillo.
