"Highly recommended!
Seafood is so good!

If you are here to drink, drinks come with a small plate of tapas for free, so you can order a bit less food!

We were here for food so we ordered a lot but still couldn’t have them all!
Razor clam is a must try, and mussels are fresh and plump! Fried asparagus is juicy and soft!

We’ll come next time for Spanish rice!!!"

Chen Lulu

"Amazing seafood selection. Highly recommend the razor clams and fried artichoke and also enjoyed the grilled baby squid and the sangria and bonus fried fish. Portions generous and we had leftovers to take home!"

Yiran

"A great spot for authentic local vibes. The food is delicious and reasonably priced, but be prepared for a very noisy atmosphere – part of its charm. The waiters are extremely friendly, happy to recommend what to order, and even warn you if you’re ordering too much. Definitely worth visiting at least once for the experience."

This lively bar (with a sister branch on Plaza Nueva) is a big favorite with locals and draws crowds whatever the time of year. Specialties include fried fish and seafood—try the surtido de pescado (assortment of fried fish) to sample the best—as well as sesos (fried lambs' brains). No reservations are taken and seating is inside or outside with views of the Plaza de Bib-Rambla, so arrive early (1:30 pm or 8 pm) to be sure of some bar space or a tall table outside.

Where to go on a tapas crawl in Granada

The next evening, head to Plaza Bib-Rambla, Granada’s pedestrianised square that’s lined with 19th-century townhouses, for seafood tapas at Bar Los Diamantes. Apart from a garlic mushroom tapa, the free dishes here — steamed mussels, grilled prawns, fried anchovies — are exclusively fishy. If you’re in the mood for a racion, the clams and prawns with artichokes cooked in lashings of butter are sublime.

Famed for its fried fish tapas, Bar Los Diamantes is a hit among locals and tourists alike. Yes, it's crowded, but that's because it's just that good. Since 1942, the bar Los Diamantes offers in Granada tapas made with fresh fish and of the highest quality, being one of the most famous gastronomic establishments in the city and where you can eat for an average of 20 € each. Its fish fritters, clams in sauce, prawns and calamari stand out, as well as its exclusive Russian salad with a secret family recipe that is passed down from generation to generation. Another point in favor are its prices, very economical for the quality of its cuisine and for the fame of the place.

Hunting Down the Best Tapas Bars in Granada

Los Diamantes: a name you’ll see more than a few times around town, with multiple venues near and far. Begin with the one at Plaza Nueva: a slick, well-lit, modern white seafood house known for some of the freshest and tastiest seafood tapas in the country. So enamored we were with this place and its crisp, glasses of vina blanca, subzero canas of cerveza, and round after glorious round of fresh prawns, garlic clams, and shallow fried white fish, that we found ourselves returning again night after night.
