"Loved this spot! They give everyone a little fried fish appetizer on the house. We got the bacon & Parmesan croquetas which were so delicious, but also much larger than normal croquetas so be mindful with how much you order :) We also got the Margherita and Fresca pizzas which were delicious, but also large so we took half of them home. Highly recommend this place!"

"We had the best time at this lovely Italian restaurant in the heart of Granada. We walked in without a reservation and had to wait for about 20 mins to get a table outdoors. The wait was worth the culinary experience we were going to get! We ordered house sangria and being vegetarians, we ordered a veg pizza and lasagna and were pleasantly surprised with the flavour bombs. Manuel and his colleagues were very kind and courteous, more so as we were with a toddler. We were also served on the house Tapas which was a sweet surprise. All in all, the best Italian food in Granada is made right here at La Piccola!"

"La Piccola Carmela is a super charming restaurant in Granada, Spain! Fantastic, friendly service and wonderful food! I loved their complimentary little appetizers-not sure exactly what they were made of, but they were incredibly good as was the Caesar salad and pizza too . We also enjoyed their selection of refreshing vermouth options of both red and white. I'm so happy we stopped in! We were the first to arrive as they opened, so we were lucky to be seated before it started to get busy. Excellent welcoming stop for lunch and drinks!"

It must be considered a disgrace to visit such a monumental place like Granada and end up in an Italian restaurant as your first stop. But, when it’s a restaurant you’ve returned to for the second time, I think it deserves a spot in here. La Picolla Carmella was at the edge of Plaza Nueva, almost opposite the pickup stop for buses towards Alhambra.
