Bar 1805 Ibiza

**Named for the year Henri-Louis Pernod launched the first commercial absinthe distillery, Bar 1805 matches a Mexican-inspired aesthetic with French bar snacks and expertly balanced cocktails. Charles Vexenat, a veteran of London’s mixology scene, is at the helm here, though he regularly invites other international bartenders for cameos. The signature is the green beast, a potent elixir heavy on the notorious emerald liqueur and served in a birdcage punch bowl.

Bar 1805, located in Sa Penya, Ibiza, is owned by Charles Vexenat, a tall and tattooed Frenchman who is a two-time winner of the World's Best Mixologist title. This unique cocktail bar offers an eclectic mix of classic French cuisine and cocktails, including a French canteen and Absinthe bar combo, with drinks such as The Green Beast, Absinta Colad, and a cute Gin Basil Smash (which is served in a tiny teacup).

Bar 1805 Ibiza is the brainchild of visionary cocktail artisan and Balearic legionnaire Charles Vexenat, a French avant-garde (larger than life) with an Ibicenco heart. Charles learned his trade as an apprentice of some of the world’s most highly regarded barmen and has himself received numerous industry awards for his creations during his career.

This bar is quite hidden, in a street narrow in Dalt Vila. It has a very cute little terrace that is this very comfortable and quiet because isn't to be a place of transit.
