Reviews Summary

niMÚ Azotea is celebrated for its spectacular panoramic views of Leon's old town and cathedral, making it a sought-after spot for drinks and dining. Guests rave about the excellent food, particularly the tapas and quality ingredients, alongside attentive service. However, some diners have encountered issues with disorganized service, particularly in handling unexpected weather on the terrace, and occasional billing errors that detract from an otherwise enjoyable experience.

"Tasty dinner with Spanish and not so spanish options, good wine and dessert.
Our table was offering a great view over Leon at night starring the illuminated Cathedral.
Attentive staff giving recommendations when asked and making sure amounts ordered seemed right."

"Disappointing experience. Views are great and our starter was very nice but the veal main was chewy and overcooked. Couldn’t eat half of it and although the manager apologised I was still charged the full amount. The fish was nice although contained some bones."

Simon Ferrari

"First of all, I would like to point out the terrible, unacceptable length of the waiter's (or hostess's, don’t know exactly what he was doing constantly near waiters, it seems was helping them) nails, Pablo's. It's horrible and shameful if you allow staff with such nails to serve people.
The second thing I would like to point out is the absolutely poor level of the cuisine. We took tuna tartare and, apart from the spiciness, we didn't feel anything at all. It shouldn't be like that. We also took the tongue and it was old, not at all fresh. They barely grated the cheese. Then we wanted to order two cocktails. As it turned out, it was impossible to order either a negroni or a caipirinha, or most of what's on the menu. With all this, the prices look pretentious.
The only good thing about this place is the view of the city."

As its name suggests, this restaurant is situated on the rooftop of the Hotel Barceló León Conde Luna, from where you can enjoy some of the finest panoramic views of the old town and the city’s surroundings. The roof terrace restaurant is a perfect spot to visit with friends and share different dishes. These range from niguiri, pasta and rice dishes to more classic dishes such as gilda skewers, cod and aged beef sirloin.

Where to Eat in Leon, Spain: the Best Restaurants

This restaurant and hotel group runs some of my favorite eateries in Leon: LAV, Casa Mando and NiMu Azotea. They have just opened a new one: Marcela Brasa y Vinos which I can't wait to try.
