Reviews Summary
Amazónico offers a visually stunning and exotic dining experience with a fusion menu that appeals to many. While the ambiance and decor are consistently praised, some diners find the food quality and service do not always justify the high prices. Occasional issues with attentiveness and unexpected charges have been noted, though many still commend the unique atmosphere and live music.
"This was my first time dining at a restaurant in Madrid, and unfortunately, I left feeling disappointed and overcharged. While the décor was undeniably beautiful and well thought out, the service and food didn’t match the expectations—or the price. For example, they charged a 10% service fee, yet the service was far from impressive. My wine arrived late, and the french fries I ordered never showed up. They presented a few items—corn cream, olives, and bread—as “courtesy,” yet each was later charged at four euros on the bill. That doesn’t feel like courtesy at all. We never asked for them.
We ordered a crab salad, which was good but nothing remarkable. The two sushi rolls were average, and the flaunder fish dish was just okay. We also had an Albariño, two mojitos, two small ice creams, and one really desset . The final bill came to €215, which felt excessive for what we received. With so many great restaurants in Madrid offering better food and value, this one falls short. I’d recommend it for the ambiance, maybe for a drink or a light bite, but not for a full dinner. Overall, it's not terrible, but it's definitely not worth the price. I recommend it 75%."

"The food was great except one dish was ok for me but good for my party.
The jazz club is nice, dark and loud if you like that kind of atmosphere.
The service was on point.
I tried the frog legs for the first time, it was delicious, and tasted like chicken wings."

"The atmosphere was very pleasant, and the service overall was good. The corn soup we were offered at the beginning was truly amazing – definitely the highlight of the meal for us.
However, the main courses didn’t really impress us. Based on our personal tastes and previous experiences, we found them just satisfactory. We didn’t continue with dessert.
One thing we didn’t like was the attitude of the staff taking the orders. It felt like they were more focused on selling rather than understanding what we actually wanted, which left a negative impression. That’s one of the main reasons we wouldn’t return.
On a positive note, the cocktails were very good !"
