What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Casanis Bistrot Marbella is celebrated for its charming ambiance in the old town and a menu featuring well-executed French and Mediterranean dishes. Diners frequently praise the Beef Wellington and Sea Bass, alongside attentive service and a delightful atmosphere, especially during golden hour. However, some guests have noted slow service and a charge for bread and butter, which can be unexpected.
"Casanis Bistrot did not disappoint! We sat inside and it was so cozy and comfortable. The staff were super friendly and attentive the whole night. Loved the Cajun shrimp, it was so soft and flavorful. The entrecôte was tender and cooked just right. The truffle pasta of the day was delicious, and the seabass was fresh and perfectly done. Definitely a spot I’d go back to."

"Great location in the old town. Service is exceptional. The sea bass is probably the best I have had, and even the quality of the asparagus, perfect. My husband had the steak which he said was very good. Good Chardonnay and excellent chocolate cake, which is more like a melt in the middle pudding with vanilla ice cream, not too much. My only slight negative comment, and not the restaurants fault, it was windy and cold outside however, they brought me a blanket to put over my lap which was perfect. Great for a special occasion."
Karen Jessop
"Casanis Bistrot Marbella offers a charming dining experience with a mostly impressive menu. We enjoyed the beef tartar, tomato salad, and cheese soufflé was amazing, all of which were excellent. The beef Wellington, however, had a less-than-ideal cut that could have been perfect because the pastry was amazing, and the pasta didn’t quite meet my expectations. Despite these minor issues, the overall quality of the food was very good."

Casanis is a belgian bistro located on one of the most charming streets in Marbella, Old Town, Calle Ancha, the street leads up to a plaza where the flamingoclub Anna María also is located. The menu carries on in the same manner and Casanis is famous for its entrecote, which is served with a really god béarnaise sauce (in our opinion the you can obtain in Marbella) and really crispy French fries.
