Second, this place is legendary for 1 thing, BBQ pork rind and cheek. So if this is not your thing you can go to other bars in the area or next door.

This place is legendary because it started as this small original bar and now has several bigger ones including in the main square of Merida. It’s so legendary that most times you have to wait for the BBQ pork cheek but when you get it, it washes down super well with the ice cold San Miguel.

Locals know this place, it’s one of those hole in the wall joints that only locals go to but if you find it enjoy it for what it is!! Greasy, BBQ goodness only for the connoisseurs of simple delights! 😺"
