"This place came highly recommended on an FB group I joined, and it did not disappoint. Firstly I'd recommend booking. We were lucky and the friendly helpful staff found us a table even without a booking, but it was obviously a very popular restaurant.
We had a drink at the bar while our table was prepared, a dark rum and coke and a Bacardi and coke. These were probably the largest measures we were served during our stay in Nerja. We were off to a good start.
We started with poppadoms and the pickle tray. The poppadoms were warm, fresh, and crispy, and the accompaniments were excellent. The mango chutney and lime pickle were outstanding.
We did not order starters, just main courses. A Chicken Shashlik, a Chicken Rogan Josh, Pillau Rice, and a plain Naan.
Rogan Josh is my mum's first choice when ordering curries, and she said this was up with the best she'd had. My Shashlick came on a sizzling platter. Large pieces of chicken, charred onion, and red & green peppers. The chicken was juicy and very tasty, although I did nick a bit of my mum's Rogan Josh sauce as I do like some sauce with my Shashlik.
The Naan was perfect with scorched blisters showing it has been traditionally cooked. The pillau rice was also spot on.
The service throughout the meal was brilliant. The waiter and waitress were friendly and knowledgeable about the menu, and our evening was rounded off nicely with a complimentary liqueur.
I would definitely recommend a visit to Taste of India."

"We visited last night for a family of nine, it was for my in laws 70th. Service was brilliant and helpful. I would give this a 4.5 but it doesn’t allow. The food was very nice although the masala wasn’t as flavourable as all the other dish’s.
Naans are big, rice is big, chips are tiny portions. Everything else was large portions. I will attach the menu also as this will be helpful to most"

Its popularity stems from its incredible dishes that are so rich in flavour, that this is one restaurant that I can’t stop thinking about.
