Reviews Summary
Bodegón Sarría is praised for its authentic atmosphere and delicious small dishes, especially the iconic 'Escombro' pintxo. While many enjoy the lively vibe and attentive staff, some reviews mention inconsistent service and excessive onion or oil in certain tapas. It's recommended to visit on weekdays to avoid peak crowds.
"A must do!
Small dishes, iberican ham, loads of small delicious toasts! I love it!
You may not understand what the dishes are made of, just try them! Ask their recommendations, you’re gon’a be surprised.
I strongly recommend."

"It was Sunday and after Mass at the cathedral we went to this place based on the online ratings. When we walked the boss/owner didn't welcome us; he just sat there. A man behind the bar did. And we asked if we could sit at one of the free tables (with tablecloth, that whole section was open) and he said OK but we could only order from the menu. We said that was fine. But then the boss/owner said no. We would have left but a regular table freed up and we were hungry. We ordered 4 things (including the gambas al ajillo which were dry). We went to another place nearby and had a great time and great food. I wouldn't recommend this place. Go to Bar Gaucho instead."

"Nice bar, big choice of tapas, but better order from the menu.
Crowded at nights (Thursday-Sunday extremely).
We’ve ordered three tapas and all of them too many onion 🧅, potatoes 🥔 and sunflower oil((("

The Best Bars In Pamplona, Spain
A bit more upmarket is Bodegón Sarría, a delightful pintxos bar right on the Plaza del Castillo that has been included in the Michelin Guide for the quality of its food. The pintxos include greasy chorizo on crusty bread and a bizarre but effective combination of prawn, gulas (baby eels) and jamón serrano, which are all tantalisingly presented along the bar front. Being a bodega, expect a variety of reds from the Navarra region, along with some good crianza options from neighbouring La Rioja.

I’d done some research to find Bodegón Sarria where we found a bottle of wine and a table. And table service (maybe just for tired pilgrims?)
