"Booked a table for tonight as this was an excellent Spanish restaurant with amazing views over the beach/ sea. We had the mixed kebab and tuna steak which were both excellent. So good we went back again for the tuna and also a white fish with a mushroom sauce which again both delicious…Great service tonight as always."

With some exceptions, such as restaurant Terraza Playa, the restaurants located on the avenue are quite poor, with the “fish and chips”, which is the delight of vacationers English, German sauerkraut, Indian or Chinese cuisine. Terraza Playa is one of the few places in Puerto del Carmen where you can enjoy a meal literally “on the beach.” The name means “Beach terrace,” and although there is an inside section, most of the tables are on the terrace on the small beach close to Lani’s Suites. You access it down the steps at the side of Lani’s and you can admire the gorgeous stone work on the steps on the way down.

Terraza Playa is as the name suggests literally a ‘Beach Terrace’. Located along Avenida de Las Playas. If you are brave and walk it is a good 45 minutes.
