Restaurants in Salamanca
Decidedly modern, dependably delicious, and shockingly cheap, Tapas 2.0 might pull you back for a second meal. The cool ensaladilla rusa (tuna-and-potato salad) is one of the best in Spain; then there are more substantial dishes, like stewed broad beans with octopus and shrimp and saucy chicken cannelloni, all complemented by a wine list featuring unexpected pours like German Riesling. If you can't snag a table, pop around the corner to Tapas 3.0, its sister restaurant.
Salamanca: The Spanish city you never thought to visit
Tapas 2.0 (10) (Felipe Espino 10) is one of the best gastrobars in Spain. Expect to spend €15-€25 per person. Tapas 3.0 (11) on the parallel street (Sánchez Barbero 7; tapastrespuntocero.com), is more of a restaurant with a three-course lunch for €16.
Tourism in Salamanca. What to see
Their vitality can be felt on a tapas tour along Calle Van Dyck and their alternative culture is also present in the Barrio del Oeste neighbourhood, where you find garages and walls covered in urban art. Under the moonlight, the monuments are lit up and it's time for live concerts or a drink in any of the city's bars.
Gluten-free restaurants in Salamanca (1)
Walking under its arches, Isa noticed the “gluten-free” symbol on one of the doors of the Bar La Tentazión. It was not on the list of gluten-free restaurants in Salamanca that we wanted to try. We went in to ask and they explained to us how they did everything.
My favorite places in Spain………..Salamanca Part 2 – the food
We were needing something green in our lives and were pleasantly surprised by the caramelized goat cheese with veggies. After that there was no stopping us. The crispy chicken leg was delicious and the patatas bravas rank among my favorites.
