"Decided to dine at El Pòsit late in the day without booking.
Had a warm welcome and we’re shown to our table by Sophia. She gave us great menu options and gave us good advice on the wine list - all local.
We ended up having a main course (fish, prawns, squid, mussels, whelks, langoustine) as a starter between two (great recommendation) then seafood paella for our main course - a crisp Albariño complement both courses.
I can honestly say, this was the best seafood we’ve had - and the service was top drawer!
We will return to Tarragona- if only to eat at El Pòsit - Gracias! 🍤🥘🐟🦪🥂🫶🏽

"Extremely disappointed by our dinner here. While visually everything looked good, the seafood was definitely not fresh, the fried stuff were soaked in oil and somehow still uncooked, while the grilled sole was overcooked, extremely salty on the one side and tasteless on the other. The food tasted either bland or very salty. All in all it was a regretful dinner and definitely not what you'd expect at this price point. Surprised by how busy the place generally is so not sure if they were having a bad day but we would never eat there again."

Food was poor, I had expectations on the romesquet but the flavour wasn’t there.
Also the white octopus it was bland.
Rest was good, wine by glad was ok.
Hope they get better is a great location, and i heard they used to be much better in Cooking and service…
