"Wasn't sure what to expect walking in, but ended up having perhaps the best roasted pig (cochinillo) ever! Excellent presentation & the meat was perfectly prepared. I can't say enough of how good it was. Excellent, the meal was 👍👍"
Anthony Guilmette
"Had a quick lunch here to try out the Sergovian dishes. The soup was served from a bigger bowl straight to the table, which mainly consist of big beans. It tasted good. But the lamb was even better. Not too much seasoning just to bring out the right taste of the meat. English menu is available."
Kero Chan
"So tasty, the suckling pig. Recommended! BTW, the restaurant is not close to bus stop at all, a quiet place instead."

What the Romans did for Segovia: and how to get the best table in Spain
The next day, after seeing the Alcazar (the castle that apparently inspired Disney’s one) and having a general poke around town, we found nowhere better than the other restaurant in Calle Hermanos Barral, La Codorniz. This time, we took a different tack with the menu options, and choice of drink for that matter. Suitably fortified by a bottle of Estrella Galicia (great beer, unfortunately very rarely on draft) I asked a local whom I’d heard discussing the wines with another table what he’d recommend, and he then took upon himself to order for us.
