"I stayed here for a wedding, so perhaps a slightly different experience, but I found the staff to be friendly and helpful, they spoke good English to compensate for my very limited Spanish. The food was excellent, including the breakfast. The rooms were pleasant and the venue and atmosphere were really beautiful. The building is great to explore with all of its courtyards filled with fruit trees. It's a short walk into town. A beautiful place for a wedding too. Parking is available within the complex."

"You simply could not fault this place - The tasteful building, the rooms (we had 3 rooms), the kind reception staff, the nice restaurant/breakfast staff, the super nice bartender, the dinner and the breakfast are all up to 5 star standard! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely come back!"

"Typical parador quality. Truly five stars all the way; food, rooms, customer service and the building itself are all absolutely stunning. A former convent most tastefully and sympathetically "converted" to a parador. Apparently it has fourteen courtyards though we didn't quite manage to find them all. A most interesting and intriguing set of "vessels" in the bar which span two floors. Further research certainly needs to be done to ascertain their purpose etc. The Refectorio where breakfast is served is a beautiful room with fabulous wall hangings. Every corridor is lined with beautiful artefacts. There is plenty of parking within the walls but if you have a low slung sports car like my car, be wary, my exhaust scraped quite badly as we left the road to go through the gates. Strangely enough no problem on the way out. Whilst there I would recommend a walk into town. Plaza Mayor is most attractive and has several bars/cafes around the perimeter. I would have loved to have seen inside the theatre and National Theatre Museum but neither was open. All in all I would wholeheartedly recommend a trip to both the Parador and Almagro itself"

06/10/2025: Estuvimos alojados dos noches por una boda que celebramos allí. Las habitaciones, conservando la estética del siglo XVI, son una maravilla: limpias, cómodas, y de materiales modernos y de calidades premium. El catering de la boda fue de alta cocina, y la atención del personal resultó excelente, cuidando la educación y el interés por nuestro descanso y disfrute en todo momento.
