"Chavolas is open since 1907 and when you have that much experience, there is a good chance you know what you are doing.
And they do.
Warm welcome, we were seated in the large room which is probably the most atmospheric. Waiters patient to explain menu and options, made good recommendations for wine (the Roda!), friendly and fun.
The octopus was delicious, croquetas were OK and the steak, grilling and cut at the table, was well executed and cooked to perfection.
Chavolas delivers really good value, price/quality ratio is unbeatable by the competition, we loved our evening at this restaurant and would highly recommend.
About €50/person including bottle of wine.

The food was absolutely delicious and generously served. One of the highlights was being able to cook our own steak right at the table—they brought a personal grill, which made the experience even more fun and interactive. And the torta de queijo? Hands down the best I’ve had in Spain!"
