"Perfect place for coffee and breakfast in Zaragoza. Very friendly, lively and frequented by locals. Not a tourist place — which is a complement. Highly recommended."

"We took a day trip from Barcelona to Zaragoza and as soon as we arrived we came to Dona Hipólita for breakfast.
There is a wide choice of cakes and no shortage of hot drink options either.
We had a great time here, I recommend this place!"

"We were attracted to this place because of its outdoor design in a nice plaza. Inside was also cozy and beautiful including the presentation of their cakes.
The lady who took our order was very nice and patient. We all noticed how pleasant she dealt with us. We were lucky we didn’t encounter the rude and unpleasant staffs that other people have met during their visit.
The food we ate were very tasty! We even liked the spicy white garlic sauce for the chips! I just wish there were more of it. We were all very happy with the different drinks that we tried.
Bathroom was also nice!
The next person who took our extra orders was ok but not as nice as the first one. He immediately submitted our orders and luckily they arrived on time"

An Artistic Journey Through Zaragoza, Spain
I love to have a coffee and piece of cake at Doña Hipólita, La Bendita or Café Botánico, all in the town centre. For more substance and less sugar, some favourites are Bar Dumbo, Mott & More, La Clandestina Cafe and Tragantua. For bar hopping and enjoying the lively tapas scene, the streets of El Tubo are the best place to be.
Restaurants in Zaragoza
Occupying an 1822 former tailor’s shop, with big windows overlooking the shady Plaza de San Felipe, this is one of the city’s prettiest spots for a casual breakfast or lunch, or coffee and cake anytime. Exposed brick walls and mismatched retro furnishings create a fun and funky vibe.…
