Her brainchild Butter Boutique started out of pure love for cakes and coffee. Nethicumara’s first encounter with Niccolo Coffee (a Melbourne-based roaster) was during one of her trips to the United States. Later, she wrote to Davide Drummond, Niccolo Coffee’s founder.

Hours: Monday to Thursday, Sunday – 8am to 8pm Friday and Saturday – 8am to 11pm. Coffee and cake is definitely a match made in heaven. Butter Boutique is a star patisserie and coffee shop in Colombo that stands true to the fact.

With massive slices of rich, delicious cake and Niccolo coffee, this is the perfect place to chat with someone over a sweet treat. I really liked the homely feeling here, and of course, all the options to satisfy my sweet tooth.
