What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Pink Head Noodle Bar garners praise for its unique Asian-fusion dishes, especially the handmade noodles and flavorful broths, with many highlighting the friendly service and vibrant atmosphere. However, some diners found certain dishes to be too sweet or salty, and a few mentioned slow service and portion sizes that could be more generous.
"The dish was a delicious art! Loved the quality of ingredients. Perfectly matched with their signature beer.
Pricier than some other options in Malmö, but let's say the quality, service, and design are worth it!"

"A slightly out-of-the-ordinary restaurant. I ordered a ramen soup with handmade noodles and duck – absolutely delicious! Friendly and attentive staff. Relatively inexpensive, in my opinion. Highly recommended!"

"We were drawn in by the swedish chefs making noodles and quite the hard stuff as well (ramen and biang biang noodles is not easy to master). Firstly, The service was great, she was friendly and attentive and she looked like she enjoyed what she does which adds to the atmosphere.
The food was very good, the Xi'an lamb biang noodles: the noodles were consistent with authentic freshly pulled noodles, the lamb was braised perfectly although I think the pickle was a nice touch it added made the already sweet sauce (which I think tasted like siracha and tomatoes) even sweeter.
The shoyu ramen was also very good and charshu was executed well only criticism is the pickled onion and the peas was a weird touch.
Overall it's a very good place to eat, it's somewhere that you can go often and I can't fault the chef for being creative even if it didn't land for me it might have landed for the swedish pallette."

The 10 Best Street Food Places in Malmö
Well, as Pink Head Noodle Bar defines its own concept in its tagline, it’s ' sort of Asian.' Drawing broad inspiration from across Asia, Australian chef Wade Brown and his team of noodle artisans keep the water boiling in the kitchen, whipping up dishes like Mapo Biang with handmade noodles, rich and creamy Tan Tan, and refined Shoyu Ramen, to name a few. The menu changes quite frequently, and from time to time, you’ll also find other non-noodle-based dishes to indulge in—like the Japanese schnitzel, tonkatsu. Since Pink Head Noodle Bar opened back in 2016, as part of the grand opening of Malmö Saluhall (from which it has now outgrown), it has become a beloved restaurant that enriches your life and warms your heart with noodles dunked in soups, spices, and highly flavourful and colourful ingredients.
Things to do in Malmö, Sweden
For dinner, head to Mutantur, which has pared-back interiors with an industrial vibe (exposed brick walls, concrete floor, black tables) and an adventurous menu of ever-changing small plates: artichoke with elderflower capers and a chive emulsion; charcoal ice cream with raspberries, brown butter and buckwheat pancake. Alternatively, just round the corner, is Riket. The menu is shorter, with only eight dishes, but the chefs forage for many of the ingredients themselves, the wines are natural and the best place to sit is at one of the tables out the front, which are especially lovely in the early-evening sun.
