Reviews Summary
Liu Shandong Beef Noodles is a highly-regarded, historic eatery famous for its authentic Taiwanese beef noodle soup. Diners consistently praise the tender beef, rich broth, and generous portions, though the small, cozy space can lead to long queues. While the noodles and beef are often lauded, some side dishes like the marinated bean curd have received mixed reviews.
"Liushandong Beef Noodle offers a delicious and authentic Taiwanese beef noodle experience. The beef is tender, and the broth is rich, flavorful, and comforting. The noodles have the perfect texture, not too soft or too chewy. The restaurant's cozy atmosphere and friendly service make it a great spot for casual dining. It's a must-try for anyone craving a traditional Taiwanese beef noodle dish. Highly recommended for both locals and tourists!"

"Tucked away in small lanes, this small noodle house oozes really old school style charms. They can seat less than 25 at max capacity but the queues moves quickly. The insides are fully air-conditioned and is comfortable even in summer. We all prefer the braised version and that's what we ordered. The beef was really tender and the soup was delightful to our family's tastes buds. Will definitely return."

"I went there on a weekday during lunchtime, and the line was already quite long. The restaurant itself isn’t spacious, old, and the seating is a bit tight, but it did earn a Michelin star in 2018 and 2019.
I ordered the Braised Beef Noodle Soup. The beef was flavorful, and nicely tender. The noodles were chewy and generous. The broth had a solid beef flavor but wasn’t overly heavy on the Chinese spices that are sometimes used in this type of dish, so it felt more suited to foreign tastes.
I also tried the Marinated Bean Curd , but I found it overly salty and not particularly flavorful. On the table, they provide vegetable, fermented soybean, chili oil, and a chili-based seasoning. These helped add some spice and depth, especially since the noodles are quite thick and can taste a bit bland on their own.
I think adding a little of the fermented soybean works well when eating the noodles without the beef or broth.
The service was good, although the food took a bit of time to served. The place was busy and packed, so I couldn’t stay too long with the constant flow of people waiting outside."

Taipei Beef noodle you should not miss.
If you love beef meat with a good proportion of muscles, you can't miss the Yongkang beef noodles. It is especially recommended for half-fat and half-meat noodles . Because the beef tendons are large, the hardness is moderate, the noodles are thin, but they are solid and strong, and the proportion of the absorbed soup is more.
