"LOVED our meal here! This was one of my favorite meals from our whole 2 week stay in Thailand. They had SO many options on the menu and it was hard to decide what to get because everything looked so good. I also feel like their menu had a lot of unique options that I didn’t see other places. Staff were super sweet and attentive. The atmosphere was average but food and service make up for it! It’s also kind of off the beaten path. HIGHLY suggest you visit here!"

Where to eat in Ao Nang, Thailand
We’ve had decent luck at Family Restaurant, which is easy to miss thanks to its side-street location on Ao Nang Soi 6. The gaeng karee with seafood had good balance and was prepared to our requested level of spiciness, and dishes like kua kling (spicy southern Thai-style minced meat) and kung ob wun sen (glass noodles and prawns baked in a pot with galangal and peppercorn) aren’t readily available at other Thai eateries in Ao Nang. There’s also a full seafood menu, and straying off the main drag rewards you with cheaper prices than at similar spots elsewhere.
Vacation, Part III: Krabi
After a restful nap back at our stay, we ate at the restaurant closest to our bungalow called Family Thaifood and Seafood for dinner. The staff were very kind and the food was priced fairly for the area. They happened to be swamped that evening and sent out sliced watermelon to all their patrons which we thought was a very nice gesture.

We were really craving for some boat noodle today and stumbled across this restaurant on google maps. Dont be mistaken by the name of the restaurant, their boat noodles arent the only thing great about this place!. they sell a wide variety of types of food but we only ate a select few.
