"Easily one of the best, if not the best restaurant in Bangkok.
They serve Thai food using local ingredients in very inventive and refined ways. The food comes in delicate portions and tastes very good. Flavour profile is varied with emphasis on seafood. The black wagyu beef curry took a bit of getting used to, but was very inventive.
We were pleasantly surprised by the wine pairing, featuring very unique wines which went well with the food.
Service was good and friendly.
We felt it deserved another Michelin star to what they already have."

"This was the last of my six bookings in Bangkok from Asia’s top 100 restaurants. It was one of three wine pairings that I did and the experience cost around AUD525 for 7 courses and 4 glasses of wine.
It is a very spacious restaurant so the perfect venue for larger groups. I loved the little kitchen tour at the start, and a visual of the ingredients throughout the dinner.
All dishes were super tasty, including the pork and prawn one that I was apprehensive about! I tried lots of ingredients for the first time and didn’t dislike any dish. I’d say my favourite was the dessert, which is unusual for me!
Service was lovely by all staff and I felt very welcome. I wouldn’t hesitate to return and experience the non alcoholic pairing.
PS Contrary to a comment made by a previous reviewer, Baan Tepa does in fact accept solo diners as I am one of them. You just need to follow the instructions, which is make a reservation by email 😉"
