Feels more genuine shopping for fruits and food in Or Tor Kor indoor market than in IconSiam! It’s located at the end of Chatuchak. The Thai chicharon must buy I just get the chicharon from there. You won’t regret it!

#ortorkormarket #jackfruit #mangosteen

Reviews Summary

Or Tor Kor Market is celebrated for its exceptional quality, cleanliness, and extensive variety of fresh produce and authentic Thai food. Visitors rave about the pristine displays, diverse selection of fruits and ingredients, and the delicious offerings at the food court. While some note prices can be higher than other markets, the superior quality and experience are widely considered well worth it.

"Haven't been here in a long time. Still maintained very well and clean. Food, fruits display is top notch. Has also a place to eat. No Aircon though, only open air."

Pete Pang

"Or Tor Kor is the mother, father, grand father, grand mother, great grandad and great grand mum of all food and produce markets in Thailand.

Sure, it’s a bit pricier and more touristy than other wet markets across the Kingdom, but it can’t be beat for quality, cleanliness, space, and diversity of produce and food offered. The range of food offered at the hawker stalls is also impressive.

It’s also easy to access (via subway or Skytrain) and provides the best A to Z showcase of Thai cuisine and ingredients that I can think of.

A must visit for food lovers and chefs and is better than ever these days."

Steve Meng Yee

"An area for farmers to showcase and sell their products. On the pricier side compared to other thai markets but the quality is there. Food is tasty with lots of options and there’s clothes as well as fruits and vegetables. Recommend visiting on a sunday!"
