12 years later and Sra Bua by Kiin Kiin finally won me over. Their new “Whispers of the Land” menu is all about fresh Thai ingredients, elegant plating, and real flavor—no more molecular gimmicks. Reviews Summary

Sra Bua by Kiin Kiin offers a highly creative and innovative take on Thai cuisine, often described as a 'sensory experience' and a 'gastronomic journey.' Guests consistently praise the beautiful presentation and the blend of traditional flavors with modern techniques. However, some diners have found the experience to be less relaxing and more like a 'mass production line,' with certain dish combinations not meeting their expectations.

"The most amazing lunch. We ordered the 3 course meal but chose the different options and shared… so it felt like the 5 course meal. The whole experience was just incredible. A very sensory experience. Service was also fantastic. Highly recommend in Bangkok! Also very reasonably priced"

Floria Dixon

"My partner and I had a wonderful dinner here. We really enjoyed the restaurant's atmosphere. The food is fantastic and full of creativity, which brought lots of joyful moments to us. They even guided us to the kitchen back of the house to fully appreciate how their cuisine is made.
Thanks for the Peachy service. It was one of the most memorable nights in Bangkok. Highly recommended!"

Nien-Heng Yang

"The decoration looks great but the food and service quality undermined the whole experience. Too many tables to serve resulting in staff rushing to present the dishes. Felt more like a mass production line rather than a relaxing fine dining experience. Though the food looks interesting as a concept, the sequence and combination of format of the dishes didn’t meet expectations, especially the taste that did not really complement one another. Still I appreciate that they made it an interactive experience with magic tricks and more, but the quality and value for money was underwhelming."

Best Restaurants in Thailand – What

**There is a burgeoning love affair between Bangkok foodies and envelope-pushing cuisine, and this beautiful restaurant is one of the original purveyors of modern and innovative Thai cuisine. Order 'The Journey' - a eight-course menu - to see the kitchen's full repertoire that respects traditional Thai flavours and ingredients but flips the script to produce something creative and original. Copenhagen's Kiin Kiin was the inspiration for the food and cooking techniques.

Interestingly, Sra Bua by Kiin Kiin was founded by Henrik Yde-Andersen, whose Thai eatery in Copenhagen, Kiin Kiin, has earned a Michelin star. And so did the Bangkok restaurant for its creative approach to modern Thai cuisine and ten-course tasting menus that use Thai flavors and modern gastronomic cooking techniques in tastes such as basil foam and frozen red curry.
